I’m Shakia Macklin—your kiddos’ new favorite art instructor (though let’s be honest, there’s hardly any “instructing” going on here—this is art, people, and the kiddos are in charge!). I am also the proud owner of Everything iz Art! While I’m not a certified or professional art teacher, I’m a mom with a passion for watching kids let their creativity shine. Whether it’s making messes, crafting detailed masterpieces, sprinkling glitter and glue everywhere, or painting with perfectly placed strokes, I love being part of their creative journey.
My goal is simple: to provide a fun and positive space where your children feel inspired to try new things, express themselves, and create work they’re truly proud of. Let’s make some magic through art—glitter optional (but encouraged)!

Everything iz Art—a creative hub dedicated to inspiring imagination and artistic expression in children through arts and crafts.
The idea for Everything iz Art was born from my eldest child, who, at the young age of 3, developed a deep love for crafting and creating. She would transform everyday items—like leaves, rocks, plastic utensils, and tissue paper—into beautiful art projects wherever she went. Watching her creativity spark and thrive inspired me to join in, and together, we created art out of anything and everything. That shared passion became the foundation of Everything iz Art, and the name couldn’t be a more perfect fit.
Today, Everything iz Art offers more than just an outlet for creativity. We provide hands-on arts and crafts classes designed to engage young minds and inspire self-expression. We also host pop-up shops, exciting Art-in-the-Park events.
